Pileus – 185 mm diameter, initially conical then becomes umbonate, white to cream,  central part brown in color, surface with brown scales,  margin wavy when mature. 

Stipe –170 mm long, solid, centrally attached to the cap, straight, enlarged toward the base, with ring, light brown in color.

Ecology - saprophyte, on leaf litter or soil, solitary or 

scattered
