Pileus - hemispherical or fan-shaped, margin entire, yellowish brown to reddish brown in color, white margin when young, surface  shiny.

Stipe - short, eccentric, laterally attached to the pileus

Spores -   chocolate brown spore print

Ecology - parasitic or saprophyte on dead wood, solitary or scattered

Edibility - not edible
